On 10/09/2019, Nafs for Empowerment in cooperation with Japanese NGO Frontline concluded the psychosocial care training for the students’ families in Qalandia camp, as part of the psychosocial care project

On 10/09/2019, Nafs for Empowerment in cooperation with Japanese NGO Frontline concluded the psychosocial care training for the students’ families in Qalandia camp, as part of the psychosocial care project.19 mothers attended the course, which contained many theoretical and practical activities aimed to increase social communication and went on to work on the importance of psychosocial care for human beings and the role of the program activities carried out with children in strengthening their self-resistance in facing trauma and stress.
Participants were able to draw, create their own Utopia and their life wire which led them to get rid of various stresses and mental disorders. This training was done by Nafs for Empowerment staff in cooperation with the school administration and parents’ council. At the end, certificates were distributed to participants who were committed to the training.
