April 2021: Nafs for Empowerment, in coordination with YWCA, commenced a group of activities and trainings targeting students involved in the project “Little Citizen”. The volunteers (Abdul- Latif Hamed, volunteers’ coordinator and some other volunteers) of Nafs conducted a series of activities in the areas targeted by the given project: Silwad, Rammoun, and Betunia. The activities are designed within the frame of the project to create leadership cadre that is aware of its needs and the needs of its community. The conducted activities included introducing participants to the new strategic intervention of the action and the process of enhancing positive citizenship. Furthermore, the training addressed the scope of transferring e- learning to be active learning with high quality. Students were given the main role in leading the training in order to develop their capacity and improve their role within the community.
