As part of the ongoing psychosocial activities within the “Recovery Horizons” project in cooperation with Americares, the team in the northern Gaza Strip continues to provide psychosocial support to the community in light of the difficult challenges it faces.
The workshops and programs continue to focus on effective methods for providing psychosocial support, including the use of stress and anxiety reduction techniques, and teaching skills for managing emotions and dealing with trauma. The ability of individuals to cope with psychological pressures is also enhanced through effective communication techniques and methods that contribute to improving social interaction and strengthening community ties.
Work is also being done to enable participants to recognize the importance of group support, as interaction between community members is an essential part of the recovery process, which helps enhance the feeling of psychological and social security in light of the harsh conditions we are living in.
Since the beginning, the “Nafs” team has continued to provide efforts and support to our people in the northern Gaza Strip, so that we can be one hand in enhancing the ability to withstand and recover, and spread hope and psychological comfort in these difficult times.
