The Launch of the Post-Trauma Disorder Prevention Sessions Program with ‘Nafs’ Empowerment Association in Partnership with ‘Save the Children’ in Tubas Governorate, Tamoun”
Today, the psychosocial support and post-trauma disorder prevention program was launched at the Tamoun Municipal Library, organized by the Nafs Empowerment Association and funded by Save the Children. The program targets children affected by psychological trauma by offering group sessions aimed at building their psychological and social capacities and enhancing prevention strategies for post-trauma disorders.
The program aims to improve the mental health of children and equip them with the necessary skills to cope with trauma in a healthy way over the course of 7 diverse sessions, contributing to the development of a more cohesive generation capable of facing challenges. The program is expected to include several sessions in the coming weeks, featuring activities such as play therapy, interactive activities, and psychological support sessions.
The Nafs Empowerment Association confirmed its commitment to continuing its work alongside its partners to provide necessary support to affected children and families, with the goal of achieving a positive and sustainable impact on children’s lives across various regions of Palestine.
