Within the frame of the project to help children and their families to overcome psycho- social trauma and pressure resulting from the spread of Covid 19 Pandemic, which Nafs for Empowerment implements through the fund of Hoping Organization, a workshop was implemented in Jalazoun Refugee Camp. The activities will be conducted in both Qalandia and Jalazoun Refugee Camps in cooperation with the Educational Program within UNRWA. The meeting is the first in a series of meetings that will target the maximum possible number of children at the UNRWA schools in the two targeted camps. The session that was commenced by Aboud Hamed (volunteers’ coordinator at Nafs) and volunteer Maisa Basha, included introducing participants to the project and the expectations from implementing a series of activities targeting children there. Additionally, the children received ice- break activities, communication activities, and debrief activities to help them overcome pressure. Likewise, participants were introduced to the skills of team work and a brief about Alternative to Violence Tools.
